Procaine Penicillin G and Dihydrostreptomycin Sulphate Injection

 

Composition:

Contains per ml:

- Procaine penicillin G 200,000 IU

- Dihydrostreptomycin sulphate 200 mg

 

Indications:

Effective against arthritis, mastitis, and various infections in calves, cattle, goats, sheep, and swine caused by sensitive micro-organisms like Campylobacter, Clostridium, E. coli, and more.

 

Dosage and Administration:

- Cattle: 1 ml per 20 kg body weight for 3 days

- Calves, goats, sheep, and swine: 1 ml per 10 kg body weight for 3 days

- Administered by deep intramuscular injection

 

Side Effects:

- Possible abortion in sows

- Ototoxicity, neurotoxicity, or nephrotoxicity

- Hypersensitivity reactions

 

Withdrawal Times:

- Kidney: 45 days
