Indications for
use
Oxytetracycline hydrochloride for injection is specifically indicated for farm animals to combat respiratory bacterial infections, colibacteriosis, salmonellosis, pasteurellosis,
gastroenterocolitis of bacterial origin in young animals, mastitis, gynecological conditions, and other diseases caused by pathogens sensitive to tetracycline antibiotics.
Prior to use, the drug in avial, punctured with a needle, should be dissolvedin 5-10 mlof waterforinjection,or a sterile isotonic solution of sodium chloride, or 1-2% sterile solution of novocaine.
The treatment solution must be freshly prepared immediately before administration and is unsuitable for storage or reheating.
