Oxytetracycline
Treatment of diseases caused by Oxytetracycline-susceptible organisms in cattle, sheep, and goats. This includes pneumonia, shipping fever complex, infectious bovine kerato-conjunctivitis, foot rot, diphtheria, bacterial enteritis, leptospirosis, wound infections, and acute metritis.
For cattle: Bronchopneumonia, respiratory infections, gastrointestinal infections, metritis, mastitis, septicaemia, puerperal infections, secondary bacterial infections.
For sheep and goats: Respiratory, urogenital, gastrointestinal infections, mastitis, infected wounds.
Administer by deep intramuscular injection at a dose of 20mg/kg bodyweight.
Meat and edible tissues: Within 14 days from the last treatment.
Milk: Within 3 days from the last treatment.
Maximum injection volume: 20 ml for cattle, 5 ml for sheep and goats.
Do not exceed the maximum volume per injection site.
Do not dilute the drug.
Store in a cool, dry place below 25 degrees Celsius, away from light.
Available in 50ml, 100ml, 250ml, and 500ml vials.
