Indications:
Our Oxytetracycline Injection is specifically formulated for the treatment of diseases caused by Oxytetracycline-susceptible organisms in cattle, sheep, and goats. It effectively combats ailments such as pneumonia and shipping fever complex associated with Pasteurella spp and Haemophilus spp, infectious bovine kerato-conjunctivitis (pinkeye) caused by Moraxella bovis, foot rot and diphtheria induced by Fusobacterium necrophorum, bacterial enteritis (scours) due to Escherichia coli, wooden tongue caused by Actinobacillus lignierisii; leptospirosis due to Leptospira pomona; wound infections, and acute metritis caused by staphylococci and streptococci strains sensitive to Oxytetracycline.
Dosage and administration:
For cattle: This injection is ideal for addressing bronchopneumonia and other respiratory infections, gastrointestinal tract infections, metritis, mastitis, septicaemia, puerperal infections, and secondary bacterial infections primarily caused by viruses.
For sheep and goats: Perfectly suited for treating infections of the respiratory system, urogenital tract, gastrointestinal tract, hooves, mastitis, and infected wounds.
Administer by deep intramuscular injection. The recommended dose is 20mg/kg body weight.
Withdrawal Period
Ensure a withdrawal period of 14 days from the last treatment for meat and edible tissues, and 3 days for milk.
Warnings:
Note: A maximum of 20 ml may be injected at any one site in cattle, and 5 ml maximum for sheep and goats.
If the total volume exceeds these amounts, divide and inject into multiple sites.
The drug must not be diluted.
Storage:
Store in a cool, dry place under 25°C, away from light.
Packing:
Available in 50ml, 100ml, 250ml, and 500ml vials.
