Indication
Indications for use include arthritis, gastrointestinal, and respiratory infections caused by oxytetracycline-sensitive micro-organisms. Particular pathogens include Bordetella, Campylobacter, Chlamydia, E. coli, Haemophilus, Mycoplasma, Pasteurella, Rickettsia, Salmonella, Staphylococcus, and Streptococcus spp. This product is intended for use in calves, goats, sheep, and swine.
Dosage
For intramuscular administration, a single dose is recommended as follows:
Horse, cattle: 10,000-20,000 IU per 1 kg body weight.
Sheep, pig, foal, calf: 20,000-30,000 IU per 1 kg body weight.
Dog, cat: 30,000-40,000 IU per 1 kg body weight.
Poultry: 50,000 IU per 1 kg body weight.
Administer once daily for 2-3 days.
Before use, add a sufficient amount of sterile water for injection to dissolve the powder completely.
Contraindication
Contraindicated in individuals with a known history of hypersensitivity or anaphylactic reaction to any penicillin.
Storage
Store in a tightly sealed container and keep in a dry place.
