*** is a synthetic glucocorticosteroid known for its strong anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, and immune-suppressive properties.
Indications:
- Myoglobinuria
- Allergic reactions
- Urticaria
- Toxinaemia
- Shock
- Stress
- Hepatitis
- Local treatment of arthritis, bursitis, distortions, tendinitis, tendovaginitis, and peri-arthritis
Contraindications:
- Diabetes mellitus
- Osteoporosis
- Heart and kidney dysfunction
- Avoid injection during the last trimester of gestation
Side Effects:
- Temporary drop in milk production in lactating animals
- Polyuria and polydipsia
- Reduced resistance against pathogens
- Delayed wound healing
Dosage and Administration:
For intramuscular, intravenous, or intra-articular administration:
- Horses, cattle: 5-15 ml (I.M. or I.V.)
- Foals, calves, goats, pigs: 1.0-3 ml (I.M. or I.V.)
- Piglets, dogs, cats: 0.25-1 ml (I.M. or I.V)
- Local therapy: 1-5 ml (intra-articular)
Withdrawal Times:
- Meat: 3 days
- Milk: 24 hours
