Indication: Penicillin Potassium Powder for Injection is for intramuscular use in the treatment of diseases caused by organisms that are sensitive to penicillin.Mainly used for Gram-positive bacteria infection. Cattle and calves: treat shipping fever syndrome, wound infections, foot and navel infections, bronchitis, and tracheitis. Swine: treats mastitis, wound infections, bronchitis, and tracheitis. Horses: treats shipping fever syndrome, strangles, bronchitis, tracheitis. Dogs, cats, rabbits, mink, fox: treats otitis externa, bronchitis, tracheitis. Shake well before using. Inject every 24 hours into deep muscle for 1-2 days after symptoms disappear. If there is no improvement within 48 hours, re-evaluate the diagnosis. Turkeys should not be slaughtered for food within one day of the treatment. Do not use on turkeys that produce eggs for consumption. For best results, use at the first signs of infection. Not for human use.
Side Effects: As with all veterinary medicine, some unwanted effects can occur from the use of penicillin potassium. Always consult a veterinary physician or animal care specialist for medical advice before use. Side effects may include but are not limited to: allergic reaction, loss of appetite, rash, fever, joint pain, vomiting, nausea, and diarrhea.
Dosage and Administration: Intramuscular injection:. An amount of, weight per 1kg: Horses, cattle 10,000 to 20,000 units; Sheep, pigs, foals, calves 20,000 to 30,000 units; Dogs and cats 30,000 to 40,000 units; Birds 50,000 units. 2 to 3 times a day, once every 2 to 3 days. Before use, add sterile water for injection to dissolve.
Withdrawal Time: 72 hours for Milk.
Storage: Keep in well-closed containers and store in a dry place below 2-8ºC.
