Composition:
Oxytetracycline
Indications:
Indications: Treatment of diseases caused by Oxytetracycline-susceptible organisms in cattle, sheep, and goats, including pneumonia, shipping fever complex (Pasteurella spp. and Haemophilus spp.), infectious bovine kerato-conjunctivitis (pinkeye) due to Moraxella bovis, foot rot, diphtheria (Fusobacterium necrophorum), bacterial enteritis (Escherichia coli), wooden tongue (Actinobacillus lignierisii), leptospirosis (Leptospira pomoma), wound infections, and acute metritis caused by sensitive strains of staphylococci and streptococci.
Dosage and administration:
For cattle: Treatment for bronchopneumonia, other respiratory infections, gastrointestinal tract infections, metritis, mastitis, septicaemia, puerperal infections, and secondary bacterial infections primarily caused by viruses.
For sheep and goats: Effective against infections of the respiratory, urogenital, gastrointestinal tracts, and hooves, as well as mastitis and infected wounds.
Administer by deep intramuscular injection. Recommended dosage is 20mg/kg body weight.
Withdrawal Period
Withdrawal Period: From the last treatment, allow 14 days for meat and edible tissues and 3 days for milk.
Warnings:
Warnings: Maximum injection volume per site is 20 ml for cattle and 5 ml for sheep and goats.
If the total volume exceeds the recommended amounts, divide and administer into multiple sites.
Do not dilute the drug.
Storage:
Store in a cool, dry place under 25°C, away from light.
Packing:
Available in 50ml, 100ml, 250ml, and 500ml vials.
