Benzylpenicillin Potassium for Injection 1,000,000 IU
Indication
Arthritis, gastrointestinal and respiratory infections caused by oxytetracycline sensitive micro-organisms, like Bordetella, Campylobacter, Chlamydia, E. coli, Haemophilus, Mycoplasma, Pasteurella, Rickettsia, Salmonella, Staphylococcus and Streptococcus spp., in calves, goats, sheep and swine.
Dosage
For intramuscular administration, a single dose ,
Horse, cattle:10,000-20,000 IU /1kg body weight.
Sheep, pig, foal, calf: 20,000-30,000 IU / 1kg body weight.
Dog, cat:30,000-40,000 IU / 1kg body weight.
Poultry:50,000 IU /1kg body weight.
Once a day for 2-3 days.
Before use, add sterile water for injection amount to dissolve.
Contraindication
A history of hypersensitivity (anaphylactic) reaction to any penicillin is a contraindication.
Storage
Tightly sealed, keep in a dry place.
