Product Description: Our Procaine Penicillin G and Dihydrostreptomycin Sulphate Injection is a potent solution designed to combat infections in livestock.
Composition:
Each milliliter contains:
200,000 IU of Procaine Penicillin G.
200 mg of Dihydrostreptomycin Sulphate.
Indications:
Ideal for treating arthritis, mastitis, and a range of gastrointestinal, respiratory, and urinary tract infections in calves, cattle, goats, sheep, and swine. Effective against micro-organisms such as Campylobacter, Clostridium, Corynebacterium, E. coli, Erysipelothrix, Haemophilus, Klebsiella, Listeria, Pasteurella, Salmonella, Staphylococcus, and Streptococcus spp.
Dosage and Administration:
Administer intramuscularly: 20:20
Cattle: 1 ml per 20 kg body weight, administered for 3 days.
Calves, goats, sheep, and swine: 1 ml per 10 kg body weight, administered for 3 days.
Ensure to shake well before use. Do not administer more than 20 ml in cattle, 10 ml in swine, and 5 ml in calves, sheep, and goats per injection site.
Administer deeply via intramuscular injection: 20:25
Maintain standard aseptic precautions during administration.
The recommended dosage is 8 mg/kg bodyweight of Procaine Penicillin combined with 10 mg/kg bodyweight Dihydrostreptomycin Sulphate, equating to 1 ml per 25 kg bodyweight. Administer once daily for up to three consecutive days. Maximum dose volumes per site: 15 ml for horses, 6 ml for cattle, 3 ml for sheep, and 1.5 ml for pigs.
Side Effects:
Therapeutic dosages of Procaine Penicillin G may cause abortion in sows.
Potential for ototoxicity, neurotoxicity, or nephrotoxicity.
Possible hypersensitivity reactions.
Withdrawal Times:
Kidney: 45 days.
Meat: 21 days.
Milk: 3 days.
