Diminazene Aceturate and Phenazone with Vitamin B Granules for Injection is a veterinary medication manufactured by Hebei Huabang Biotechnology Co., Ltd. It is specifically formulated for veterinary use only.
Diminazene aceturate, a member of the aromatic diamidines group, is effective against babesiosis, piroplasmosis, and trypanosomiasis. It is supplemented with Vitamin B6 and B12 to counteract the anemic effects by promoting red blood cell production.
Used for treating babesiosis, piroplasmosis, and trypanosomiasis in camels, cattle, cats, dogs, goats, horses, sheep, and swine.
Avoid administration in animals with known hypersensitivity to diminazene and/or phenazone, as well as those with impaired renal and/or hepatic function.
Possible hypersensitivity reactions, salivation, sweating, and tremors. Multiple therapeutic doses may lead to severe nervous signs and organ lesions in dogs, cattle, and other animals.
Administer deep intramuscularly. Dissolve 2.37 (23.7) grams of powder in 15 (150) ml of sterile water for injection. Dosage is 1 ml per 20 kg body weight.
Meat: 21 days. Milk: 4 days.
Store in a cool, dry place below 30ºC, protected from light.
