When administered intramuscularly, oxytetracycline hydrochloride is rapidly absorbed into the bloodstream, efficiently infiltrating most body organs and tissues. Peak blood concentration is achieved within 30 minutes, with therapeutic levels sustained for 10-12 hours.

Indications for
use
Oxytetracycline hydrochloride injection is specifically utilized for farm animals to combat respiratory bacterial infections, colibacteriosis, salmonellosis, pasteurellosis,
gastroenterocolitis of bacterial origin in young animals, mastitis, gynecological conditions, and other diseases caused by pathogens susceptible to tetracycline antibiotics.
Prior to use, the drug in avial, punctured with a needle, should be dissolvedin 5-10mlof waterforinjection,or a sterile isotonic solution of sodium chloride, or a 1-2% sterile solution of novocaine.
The treatment solution must be prepared immediately before administration and is not suitable for storage or heating.

The drug is administered to animals intramuscularly at intervals of
10-12 hours for 5-7 days in the following doses
(relative to the active substance):
