Composition:

Each uncoated bolus contains Niclosamide 1250mg.

Indications:

Niclosamide Bolus is indicated for tapeworm infestations and immature paramphistomiasis in various animals.

Tapeworms:

• Cattle, Sheep, Goats, Deer: Moniezia Species, Thysanosoma (Fringed Tapeworms)


• Dogs: Dipylidium Caninum, Taenia Pisiformis, T. hydatigena, T. taeniaeformis


• Horses: Anoplocephalid infections


• Poultry: Raillietina, Davainea

Amphistomiasis:

In Cattle and Sheep, Niclosamide Bolus effectively treats immature paramphistomes, preventing severe symptoms like anorexia, increased water intake, and watery fetid diarrhea.

Administration And Dosage:

Administer Niclosamide Bolus in feed or as such, following the recommended dosages based on the animal's body weight.

Against Tapeworms:

• Cattle, Sheep, Horses: 1 gm bolus for 20 kg body weight


• Dogs, Cats: 1 gm bolus for 10 kg body weight


• Poultry: 1 gm bolus for 5 adult birds

Against Amphistomes:

For Cattle & Sheep, use a higher dosage at the rate of 1.0 gm bolus per 10 kg body weight.

Safety:

Niclosamide bolus has a wide margin of safety, even in cases of overdosing. It can be used safely in all phases of pregnancy and in debilitated subjects without adverse effects.
